Gisi Style Silicone Casting Molds

Don't have a 3D printer and still want to make a Gisi style blank? We have your solution! Thank you Kyle Hobbs for the opportunity to make this happen!

De-molding requires some experience of working with silicone molds and tight tolerances.  Contact us for more information or watch our video.

NOTE: Do not use epoxy or mold release in gisi style molds. For best results and least wear, use Alumilite Clear or Clear Slow (urethane resin) on the initial pour.  We DO NOT recommend any other epoxy for the initial cast in the gisi style molds.  It will damage or stick to this mold. Mold release of any kind may inhibit the chemical bond of the second cast.

Due to the nature of products used to create various casting molds and resin options, we cannot guarantee initial castings will produce a totally bubble / blemish free, glass-like finish. Depending on the casting project involved, there are usually secondary finishing efforts required, such as turning on a lathe, sanding, buffing, polishing, and/or applying a final leveling resin coat to achieve a perfectly clear, smooth exterior for your hand cast resin projects.

Currently Available: Bolt Action, Junior Cap, Junior Body, Professor, Shakespeare Cap, Shakespeare Body, Sierra

If you don't plan to cast often and want to make only one pen blank, we also offer empty shells already cast in the mica powder color of your choice!
