Divine Pigments - Individual Bottles

$ 7.00
Color: Abyss Blue

Divine Pigments now come in 1 ounce squeeze bottles!

Divine Pigments are a colorant that can be added to resin to be able to create opaque, solid colors. These specific pigments were originated for use in the boating industry to add color to resins. Polyester resin is used as the base (35%-45%) for the pigments before the coloring is added.

Create your own colors by mixing the pigments together or adding dyes and micas. The pigment can also be used to add coloring to epoxy for gluing in pen tubes. This will help seeing the pen tubes on translucent blanks.

Divine Pigments have been tested and can be used with polyester resin, urethane resin and epoxy resin. The amount of pigment required will vary depending on amount of resin being used. When doing pen blanks, it is recommended to use about 1 gram (.04 oz) for every 100 grams (3.5 oz) of resin to be sure you cannot see the pen tube once turned.

Divine Pigments are not recommended to use for stabilizing.
