Silicone Molds

PTownSubbie Silicone Casting Molds are designed to improve the quality and success of your pen blank casting. They come in three main types: Blank, Block, and Tube-in Series.

• Blank casting molds are designed to pour individual blanks, either horizontal or vertical, depending on your casting preferences. 
• Block casting molds are designed to pour a large cavity which allows a user to create casts that can be cut into multiple pen blanks. 
• Tube-in casting molds allow you to case objects on your tubes such as labels, stamps, metal foil, or anything else you can imagine. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to the nature of products used to create various casting molds and resin options, we cannot guarantee initial castings will produce a totally bubble / blemish free, glass-like finish. Depending on the casting project involved, there are usually secondary finishing efforts required, such as turning on a lathe, sanding, buffing, polishing, and/or applying a final leveling resin coat to achieve a perfectly clear, smooth exterior for your hand cast resin projects.

Blue molds except Gisi Style Molds cast Polyester Resin (Silmar 41), Urethane Resin (Alumilite Clear), and Epoxy Resin.

Mold release sprays help to extend the shelf life of our molds. We recommend Stoner Thermoset for Polyester and Epoxy Resins, and Stoner Urethane for Urethane Resin.

Custom Set-up Fee for non-standard designs: $35.00 and up
