This silicone mold casts up to six blanks at one time, each 5/8" diameter, 6" deep. This mold is made to order and may take 7-10 days for delivery.
HOW TO REMOVE A BLANK FROM A VERTICAL MOLD
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the nature of products used to create various casting molds and resin options, we cannot guarantee initial castings will produce a totally bubble / blemish free, glass-like finish. Depending on the casting project involved, there are usually secondary finishing efforts required, such as turning on a lathe, sanding, buffing, polishing, and/or applying a final leveling resin coat to achieve a perfectly clear, smooth exterior for your hand cast resin projects.
Blue molds except Gisi Style Molds cast Polyester Resin (Silmar 41), Urethane Resin (AlumiliteĀ Clear), and Epoxy Resins.
Mold release spraysĀ help to extend the shelf life of our molds. We recommend Stoner Thermoset for Polyester and Epoxy Resins, and Stoner Urethane for Urethane Resin.
